What Meditation & Mindfulness are not

Meditation & Mindfulness must not be feared. They are not about having a blank mind devoid of thought. They do not require a life lived in a Himalayan cave. They are not asking us to exist in some exalted state, without connection to this world, or to our individual bodies either. They do not ask us to practice for hours on end. Nor do they require reverence to be paid to any individual, sect or religion.

What Meditation & Mindfulness are

Meditation & Mindfulness are simply learning and growing into the practice of present minded awareness. They are tools that allow us to improve our non judgmental awareness of ourselves, our thought process and the reality of the environment in which we live. A few minutes practiced each day, or even each week, offer a host of posative benefits.
